Books prepared for shipping

The Leningrad Region Committee for Transport is taking part in the restoration of the sister city of the Leningrad Region - Yenakievo of the Donetsk People's Republic. During the hostilities, the library collection was significantly damaged, and there is an acute shortage of specialized literature on architecture, construction, and transport.

For help in restoring the Yenakiev library collection, the committee, taking advantage of established partnerships, turned to St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. In just a few weeks, the scientific and technical library of our university collected about 900 books, textbooks, study guides, and monographs. Nikolay Podoprigora, associate professor at the Department of Land Transport and Technological Machines, was appointed curator from SPbGASU for the transfer of books.

Further delivery and transfer of SPbGASU scientific works to the Yenakievo Library was supervised by the Chairman of the Leningrad Region Committee for Transport, Mikhail Prisyazhnyuk.
