On 28 August 2017, at the meeting with the vice-governors of St.-Petersburg I.I. Albin and O.A.Markov and representatives of branch authorities a program concept of pedestrian spaces and routes in  St.- Petersburg was examined. This program is to make urban environment more comfortable and effective in using open spaces  according to complex system approach and citizens’ preferences.

The concept includes a redevelopment of Alexandrovsky park like a center of cultural and social attraction of Petrogradsky district. A group of authors of SPSUACE under the direction of teachers of the chair of design of architectural milieu S.B.Danilova and A. V.Dyomin worked out this project, which 

earlier became the, hold by the Committee on town-planning and architecture of St.-Petersburg.

As a result of the meeting the concept was approved. The concept materials are going to be considered at the meeting of the Government of St.-Petersburg.
