Department of social and extra-curriculum work

     Since October, 1st, 2006, at the university there began its activity the department of social and extra-curriculum work with students whose primary goal is interaction with the university faculties (coordination of work of assistants to deans on educational work), students` council, students` club "Brick" and the physical training chair. At the university the institute of curators is being revived.
     In order to organize the leisure time of students living in hostels and also to control over observance of regulations in students` hostels toe position of teacher-tutor has been introduced.

     Employees of the department organize and carry out various actions. Days of the first-year student, days of humour, competitions «Ms. SPSUACE», interfaculty KVN, celebrations of New Year, on February, 2 3rd, on March, 8th, on May, 9th have become traditional. Reviews-competitions «the Best curator», «the Best room of a hostel», «the Best student's group» are spent.
     The department works in two basic directions: social work and extra-curriculum work with students.
     Social work includes official registration of papers on appointment of grants, material support, granting of privileges for orphans on residing payment in hostels. The department also will organise appointments of the students requiring sanatorium treatment, material encouragement of the students actively participating in a public life of high school.
     
     The basic directions of extra-curriculum work are development of student's self-management system, organization of educational work in hostels, involving students into playing sports, aesthetic education, cultural-mass work, propagation of a healthy way of life, informing students on various aspects of the university life.
