Acquired knowledge and skills, specifics of training

Having completed training in the field of "Applied mathematics and informatics", students master the basic modern methods of mathematical modeling, numerical methods, programming languages and methods, and apply them to develop their own application programs in various fields: from problems in the field of construction to economics and ecology.

Within a number of academic disciplines, students master the technologies of building information modeling (TIM-technologies), which is a new and promising direction covering all stages of construction: from the development of an architectural model to the design and subsequent building of a construction site.

The program prepares mathematicians and programmers who can work in various fields from computer games, Internet programming to artificial intelligence systems and engineering calculations of building structures, which will always allow them to stay on trend with the requirements of the labor market.

Studied profile disciplines:

  • Mathematical analysis
  • Linear algebra and analytic geometry
  • Discrete mathematics: mathematical logic and graph theory
  • Probability theory and mathematical statistics
  • Equations of mathematical physics
  • Operating systems and networks
  • Computer programming
  • Object-oriented programming
  • Internet programming
  • Computer architecture and Assembly language
  • Python programming
