In the first years of study, students receive general engineering training, including the study of the theory of reliability, theoretical mechanics, strength of materials, theory of machines and mechanisms, machine parts, engineering graphics.

In senior courses, students receive fundamental knowledge of the basics of ensuring the operability of vehicles, technologies and the organization of their maintenance and repair, the basics of ensuring the economy, environmental friendliness and safety of road transport. Special disciplines are devoted to the issues of maintenance and repair of individual components of vehicles, modern operating materials and the supply of material resources, issues of diagnosing and servicing modern electronic vehicle systems. The disciplines of profiling allow a deeper study of the organization of the work of automotive equipment in fleets, car parks, freight and passenger motor transport enterprises.

The training process includes laboratory and practical classes, including the use of real car components, car service equipment, as well as practice at existing enterprises in the automotive industry in the region.
