On 2 November, the International Students Council held an event dedicated to the National Unity Day.

The participants tried traditional dishes, danced and had fun. Each received a vivid impression.

Results of the Kuppia Study club: practical workshops were held in the office 130 using laptops, multimedia projectors and software package.

How did the KUPPIA meetings go in March?

We have learned how to transform houses and apartments and even create architectural projects. We've created drawings, spectacular renderings and 3D visualizations.

To turn a creative idea into a project, high-quality tools are required, which we successfully studied during the semester. The essence of the master classes of the Kuppia club is creativity, the desire to offer new ideas in 3D modeling.

Practical master classes are held in computer classes using computers, multimedia projectors and a software package (5, Boitsov pereulok, computer laboratory).

On 28 February, in the Great Hall of the "Kirpich" student creativity club, Maslenitsa festivities organized by the ISC were held.

Ikhda Prasetia, Adam Khosari, Asadillo Khazhiev performed at the event.

Bulgarian folk dance was performed by the chairman of the ISC Antonia Angelova.

On 13 March, the Kirpich student creativity club held the meeting of the Russian language club.

During the meeting, we met new guys, talked about the peculiarities of the countries from which they came.

On 31 March, the Russian language club had a meeting. Its participants communicated and had interesting games. The Russian language club project is an excellent opportunity for international students to get to know each other, demonstrate knowledge of the Russian language, and share their experience of intercultural communication.

On 7 April, the Russian language club had a meeting! The meeting of Russian guys with foreign students was held in a very warm and friendly atmosphere: the participants got to know each other, talked, and had an interesting game. In addition, we had an international company that made the game even more unusual and unpredictable!

The Russian language club values friendship and treats each member with respect. Any of those present at the meetings can be sure that he/she is the most important guest and everything that happens is organized just for him.

The team of the Russian language club works for our guests and is always glad to meet new people.

The results of the joint action of the ISC and the environmental movement "EcoTusa": the collection of waste paper was successful, waste paper was collected from the lecture halls and offices of the SPbGASU buildings.

Kazan Federal University (KFU) hosted the opening of the Kazan Model of the United Nations.

About 150 representatives of Russian universities took part in the work of six modeling committees, including representatives of the SPbGASU International Students Council Sabrinahon Solehzoda and Murodali Niyozov.

The Kazan model of the UN is a unique platform for discussions and debates of a wide range. Over the years of the event, more than a thousand people have become its participants. On the first day of work, a number of experts delivered lectures to the delegates, which helped each of the participants to deepen their knowledge of international relations and put them into practice during committee meetings.

“Here, the competencies of real communications are developed, putting forward reasonable arguments, reasons and reaching compromises in the framework of the negotiation process. This is a unique experience for each participant, which can become one of the steps on the way to a successful international career,” emphasized the Vice-Rector of KFU.

Students from 35 Russian universities and 27 foreign countries have taken part in the Kazan Model of the UN event for six years.

On 13–14 May, the International Students Council held a field event on the site of recreation center in the Molodyozhny village near St Petersburg. The event was attended by 24 foreign students from 10 countries of near and far abroad, project managers and activists.

For two days, the team of organizers and activists managed to discuss the problems of foreign students in Russia, hold interesting master classes and prepare a program for the future forum. The Gulf of Finland, dense forest and fresh air helped to relax and gain strength before the upcoming tests and exams.

On 5 June, the Presidium of the International Students Council took part in the conference "Education and adaptation of international students at the university: Russian and foreign experience", held in Moscow at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).

Antonia Angelova, Solekhzoda Sabrinakhon and Murodali Niyozov made a presentation at the section "Actual problems of the theory and methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language for professional purposes." The report on the topic "Problems of teaching the Russian language to foreign students of technical fields" was excellently presented. Our representatives named the problems of adaptation of foreign students, integration in the learning environment and proposed the following solutions: to conduct more activities aimed at learning the language, overcoming the language barrier. They also shared their experience of learning foreign languages and studying in Russia.
