First impression of the university
I came here under the state program to continue my PhD studies. I chose the field "Mechanics". I liked the university (at that time it was called the Leningrad Civil Engineering Institute) at first sight.
Challenges
Of course, there are many difficult disciplines in technical specialties, but the most difficult was, perhaps, chemistry.
People from the university who played an important role in life
I was helped a lot by the support of Professor Aleksandr Vasilievich Bolotny, who in those years was LISI Vice-Rector for International Relations, a friendly and open person and an amazing teacher.
Career after graduating
After receiving my diploma, I started a research career, published scientific articles on road construction, road safety and road surface features, including co-authorship with colleagues from other countries. Now I teach at the Czestochowa University of Technology (Poland).
