In order to increase the level of knowledge in the field of financing sustainable development and climate change, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation has developed an educational program “ESG, sustainable development and climate change”, which is planned to be implemented in three stages: basic, intermediate and advanced levels.
The first stage of the educational program - the training course “ESG, sustainable development and climate change: basic level” is available on the distance learning platform of the Bank of Russia “University” (finclass.info).
During the course, participants will learn the differences between sustainability and ESG and how they impact non-financial and financial companies. In addition, it will inform about building a career in the field of sustainable development and the role of the Bank of Russia in these programs.
The educational course consists of eight thematic sections. The total duration of the course is 3.5 hours. Each section includes several video lectures. Based on the results of the course, a final test is expected. Upon completion of the educational course and final testing, the participant will be invited to participate in webinars and will be able to receive a certificate of completion.
The second and third stages of the educational program are planned for 2024.
The program is open to students, graduate students and young scientists, as well as all interested parties.
