On 22 April at 17:00, SPbGASU (space “Growth Point” (former café of the Faculty of Architecture), 4, 2nd Krasnoarmeyskaya St., architectural entrance) is hosting a round table “Sustainable development of natural tourism: accelerated promotion of modular accommodation facilities”. During the discussion, leading practicing experts in the field of sustainable development of territories will discuss new challenges and growth points for architects participating in projects for the construction of tourism infrastructure in specially protected natural areas.

How can architects help integrate sustainability principles into project planning and implementation? This and other questions will be answered by the speakers of the event: Vera Burtseva, director of the ANO “Research Institute for Sustainable Development in Construction”; Anton Golovin, vice-president, head of the council for sustainable architecture of the Union of Architects of St Petersburg; Dmitry Kolosov, director of sustainable development of the Rosa Khutor resort; Sergey Lutchenko, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Urban Development Policy - Chief Architect of the Leningrad Region; and Oleg Fedorov, Associate Professor at the SPbGASU Department of Architectural Design, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Architecture for Career Guidance Counceling.
