A social poster design competition has started. The competition is held by the Committee on Youth Policy and Interaction with Public Organizations of the Administration of St Petersburg.
The main goal of the competition is to educate young people with positive values and attitudes towards respect, understanding and acceptance of the diversity of cultures concentrated in St Petersburg, a positive attitude towards representatives of all ethnic and religious groups, and the formation of their attitude towards the social processes of the modern world.
St Petersburg youth are invited to show their creativity in the field of social advertising and create modern posters on the topics of civil peace and social harmony.
The competition is held for city residents aged 14 to 35 years in four categories:
- “The City and me” (works aimed at realizing one’s belonging to the St Petersburg society);
- “Diversity of cultures” (works that reveal a positive attitude towards representatives of all ethnic and religious groups living in St Petersburg);
- “We are together” (works aimed at improving the well-being of vulnerable categories of citizens);
- “The view of the young” (works presenting current ideas of authors that have social significance).
The winners and runners-up of the competition will be awarded diplomas, valuable prizes and cash certificates.
Works are accepted to the email address openartspb@mail.ru until 15 May.
