Special League of the XI CASE-IN International Engineering Championship

SPbGASU students are invited to take part in the Special League of the XI CASE-IN International Engineering Championship in the direction of "Architecture, design and construction". The championship will start on 11 April, 2023.

The championship is held with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund and the national platform "Russia - the Land of Opportunities".

The METROPOLIS company acts as the partner of the direction. The main specialization of the company is the general design of civil engineering and industrial buildings, including in cooperation with leading international and Russian architectural companies. METROPOLIS is one of the leaders in architectural and construction design in Russia, a multiple winner of the 100+ Awards, the BIM leader in Russia according to Autodesk in 2020, 2021, 2022, among the TOP 10 Best Employers in Russia according to HeadHunter. The company has been a member of The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat since 2015.

As part of the qualifying round, student teams of eight members will receive a case developed by the company's experts. To solve the case, knowledge of various sections of design, including architecture, structural and engineering areas, will be required. The work on each of the sections will be supervised by the METROPOLIS company specialists and SPbGASU teachers.

The best participants will receive an internship offer at METROPOLIS with the possibility of subsequent employment. The prize-winners will receive awards and gifts, as well as preferences for participation in the projects from "Russia - the Land of Opportunities" platform, including the opportunity to receive a presidential grant.

  • 07.03.02 Reconstruction and restoration of architectural heritage;
  • 07.04.02 Reconstruction and restoration of architectural heritage;
  • 08.03.01 Civil engineering;
  • 08.04.01 Civil engineering;
  • 08.05.01 Construction of unique buildings and structures;
  • 09.00.00 Information systems and technologies;
  • 38.03.02 Management of investment and construction enterprises;
  • 38.04.01 Investment and construction management.
