From 10 to 16 July, Almetyevsk (Tatarstan) is hosting the 5th International Petroleum Youth Forum - Fuel and Energy Development Hackathon 2024.
The forum is held with the support of the Organizing Committee of the international engineering championship "CASE-IN". Operator of the educational program is the Foundation for Educational Projects “Reliable Shift”.
Over the years, the forum has become a platform that brings together progressive youth teams to solve pressing problems of the fuel and energy complex of Russia and neighboring countries. The unique environment has been created for learning, design, collaboration, professional communications and personal development. The program includes trainings, round tables, master classes from leading industry experts in the fuel and energy sector, direct communication with the management of oil and gas companies, relevant ministries and departments, a hackathon (a competition for software developers) and networking (a program for establishing business connections).
The forum will be attended by 250 students, young professionals and teachers from Russia and foreign countries. The best proposals and project ideas of the hackathon teams will receive support for further implementation. The total prize fund of the forum is more than 2 million rubles.
The Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation invites students and university teachers to take part in the competitive selection to participate in the forum.
Teachers, undergraduates and students who have successfully passed the selection participate in the forum free of charge. The organizers provide accommodation, meals, rich educational and cultural programs. Transportation costs for participants are covered by the sending party.
