From 22 to 25 April SPbGASU is holding the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Information Modeling in Construction and Architecture” (BIMAC-2025).
The BIMAC conference has become the most important event in the field of digital transformation of the construction industry and development of information modeling technologies in Russia. This year, more than 600 participants are expected, including representatives of government agencies, specialized SROs, experts and heads of organizations specializing in the design, construction and operation of buildings and structures, educational and scientific institutions engaged in the development and training of information modeling technologies, etc.
The conference program includes business and discussion parts, where current issues in the field of digitalization of the design and construction industry will be discussed:

information modeling in design of capital construction projects;

estimation and BIM;

organization of construction and BIM;

information modeling in construction of roads, transport facilities and other linear objects;

implementation of BIM in design, construction and other organizations;

modern software for BIM;

import substitution and BIM;

programming (automation of work) in BIM-PO;

3D printing, 3D scanning, virtual and augmented reality technologies (as applied to BIM);

achieving energy efficiency through BIM;

artificial intelligence in construction and architecture tasks;

BIM training at the university and other organizations.
On 25 April, as part of the conference, there will be a ceremonial awards ceremony for the winners of the 2025 school TIM championship and the winners of the SPO League, the final of which will be held during BIMAC.
The annual BIMAC conference is held within the framework of the educational project "Innovative Methodology for Forming Digital Professional Competencies of Students and Specialists in the Construction Industry" based on the Federal Innovation Platform of SPbGASU and is dedicated to issues of digital transformation in the construction industry and the development of information modeling technologies in Russia, their implementation in the educational process.
