From 20 March to 26 April, the All-Russian language competition with international participation "BEST (Business - Engineering - Society - Technology) projects" will be held at the Department of English Language and the Scientific and Educational Center "Innovative Technologies in Professional Language Education" of the Izhevsk State Technical University named after M. T. Kalashnikov.
Event format: remote.
The purpose of the event is to improve the level of foreign language communicative competence of students, use foreign language skills in the professional sphere, and develop future specialists in the international professional space.
Participants of the competition submit projects in English on any topic within the competition nominations. The following nominations are provided:
- best business project;
- best research project;
- best technological project;
- best social project;
- best interdisciplinary project.
The competition includes two rounds.
Selection round. Participants write a motivation letter and prepare a 5-7 minute video.
Final round. Held via videoconference. Participants deliver a presentation in English, followed by a discussion with the competition jury and other contestants online on the day of the videoconference. Duration of presentation: 7–10 minutes.
The winners of the competition will be awarded diplomas, and the participants and mentors will be awarded certificates and letters of gratitude.

Preparation of projects for the selection round: 31 March, 2025.
