On 1 October, 2023, the X All-Russian Engineering Competition for undergraduate and postgraduate students started. The competition has been held by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia annually since 2014 in accordance with the instructions of the President of Russia in order to attract young people to solve promising production, technical, and economic problems of strategic importance for the development of the country's industry.

Participants of the competition are final year bachelor's, specialist's, master's and postgraduate students.

Following the results of evaluating the participants' applications, 400 best works of undergraduate and postgraduate students will be selected for the semi-finals. Semi-finalists will have the opportunity to finalize projects under the guidance of leading specialists from enterprises interested in the results of the work. In addition, as part of the acceleration session, they will be given master classes, trainings and consultations with key employers.

At the final stage of the competition, which will be held in June 2024 in Moscow, 100 finalists will be able to present their works to state examination commissions under the leadership of top officials of high-tech corporations and industries (Rosatom, Roscosmos and Rostec state corporations, Helicopters JSC of Russia", PJSC RusHydro, JSC Russian Railways, LLC VK, JSC United Shipbuilding Corporation, PJSC United Aircraft Corporation, Association Consortium Basis, etc.). The winners will receive special prizes from employers and job offers. In addition, they will have an advantage when entering the next level of education.

To participate in the competition, you must fill out an individual application on the official competition portal before 1 December 1.
