The Free Economic Society of Russia is holding the XXVII International Competition of Scientific Works of Young People on Economics.
The purpose of the competition: to improve the educational and intellectual level of young people, to identify, support, encourage and stimulate creativity and initiative in independent scientific research of young people, to involve young people in scientific activities, to help in the self-realization of young people in scientific research and in society.

- the Arctic: challenges of the 21st century;
- spatial development of Russia;
- climate change: impact on socio-economic development;
- ESG agenda for sustainable development;
- microeconomics: consumer and firm behavior, industry markets, factor markets;
- agricultural economy and food security of Russia;
- tourism economics;
- financial system and economic development of Russia;
- macroeconomic policy and strategic management of the Russian economy;
- economic security;
- international institutions: history, transformation, prospects;
- global economy and international business;
- global finance and international economic relations;
- spiritual and moral values and economics;
- behavioral economics;
- economic sociology;
- priorities of social development of the Russian economy;
- non-economic factors of economic growth;
- economic efficiency and social justice;
- the role of human potential in economic development;
- Free Economic Society of Russia – the first institution of civil society in figures, achievements, historical facts (for the 260th anniversary of the Free Economic Society of Russia);
- development of socio-economic thought in the 17th–21st centuries.
The competition is open to students of higher education institutions pursuing bachelor's, specialist's and master's degree programs.
