24th March - the World day of struggle against tuberculosis. Exactly 135 years ago, on 24th March, 1882, a German microbiologist Robert Kokh declared opening an infecting agent of the tuberculosis. And 35 years ago, in 1993, the World organization of public health services declared the tuberculosis to be a global problem and initiated to make this day a commemorative date.
In our country a symbol of struggle against the tuberculosis - a white camomile. For the first time the charitable action «White camomile» to raise money on treating tuberculosis was held in 1912.
Despite considerable achievements of medical science, the tuberculosis still remains a widespread and mortally dangerous disease. The tuberculosis is transferred by an air-drop way and in many cases doesn’t show symptoms at once. To treat it successfully, it is extremely important to reveal the disease at early stages. For this purpose it is necessary to pass photofluorographic inspection regularly, once a year.
Dear students, teachers, employees of SPSUACE! We invite you to have a photofluorographic inspection which will be organized at the University from 10 to 25th April, 2017
