The Day of the Russian science is celebrated on 8th February. This day, on 8th February, (on 24th January, in old style) 1724, the Russian Academy of Sciences was based.

In a modern society science plays a very important role. Without scientific researches progress and improvement of living conditions is inconceivable. People of science look ahead safely, overcoming difficulties and doing the world better today.

Students, post-graduate students, teachers of the St.-Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering conduct a big activity within the limits of scientific schools, carry out scientific projects, participate and win various competitions. We wish them persistence on achievement aims and success on their hard, but such important and significant way.
