17- 19th January, 2017 the Championship of high schools of St.-Petersburg on biathlon took place in Toksovo. On a distance of 12,5 km in mass start a student of the group 1-ETMK-2 Gleb Slobodenyuk  became  the winner of the race and won the championship of St.-Petersburg on this distance.

Gleb continued his successful performances in the championship of Russia among juniors at the end of January in Ufa where as a part of the national team of St.-Petersburg he took the second place in the team race on 10 km. The sportsman executed the specification of the Master of sports on biathlon.
