On September 26 SPbGASU hosted a board meeting of the International Association of Educational Civil Engineering Institutions of Construction (AECEI) and Education and Methodics Association of Russia (EMA) supervised by Evgeny I. Rybnov, Vice-President of AECEI and Rector of SPbGASU.

The meeting discussed current issues of science and educational activity and outlined their solutions. Bologna Process implementation challenges universities and demands new ways of their work. Vladimir I. Andreev, Director-General of AECEI: “Academic staff must not be loaded with paperwork – it has to be corrected”.

AECEI and EMA activity is aimed to saving and improvement of common education space on the territory of the former USSR. Public Accreditation Centre for Civil Engineering, Methodological Council of the project “Open Network”, Civil Engineering Legislation Committee and International Register of Intellectual Property work under AECEI and EMA.
