Aleksandr Beglov Congratulated SPbGASU Students on Students Day

On January 25, 2019, Aleksandr D. Beglov, Acting Governor of Saint Petersburg visited SPbGASU due to Russian Students Day. Together with Government members he had an excursion to Fundamental Library, then he had a meeting with students and answered their questions.

Evgeny I. Rybnov, SPbGASU Rector, opened the meeting where undergraduate and postgraduate students, Student Council members, student construction brigades and youth non-governmental organizations were present.

Aleksandr Beglov congratulated a second year student Tatiana Chernetsova on her birthday. Last summer she worked as part of student construction brigade LIS at the Crimean Bridge.

Aleksandr Beglov: “This meeting is very important to me, because I need to know what young people are interested in”. He reminded about 75-th anniversary of the end of the siege of Leningrad: “The city stayed out against all odds. Football matches were held, Dmitry Shostakovich wrote his famous seventh symphony, Olga Bergholz wrote poems and the city lived”. Aleksandr Beglov also remembered his studentship in SPbGASU (Leningrad Civil Engineering Institute) and student construction brigades and shared his ideas on Saint Petersburg development.
