All-Russia Library Day
May 27 is the All-Russia Library Day. It was on this day in 1795 that the first public book collection in Russia was founded – the Imperial Public (now the Russian National) Library.
In the era of the Internet and digital media, libraries are not losing their positions and continue to play an important role in society, serving as centers of intellectual culture with a special atmosphere of knowledge and wisdom.
The SPbGASU Scientific and Research Library (pictured) is one of the oldest university libraries in our country. We congratulate the employees of SPbGASU SRL on their professional holiday and wish them further success in their work!
