On 28th February, 2017 a general meeting of foreign students of a full-time course of study took place at the St.-Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering.

Specifics of the migratory registering foreign citizens, results of the winter session of 2016-2017, residing in hostels were discussed at the meeting. Foreign students received answers to their questions.

At the meeting the pro-rector on study I.R. Lugovskaya, the chairman of the council on development of students and young scientists’ research work K.J. Mazneva, the dean on work with foreign students Y.V. Ivanova, the head of the Chair of Russian Language G.A. Zadonskaya, the vice-president of Student council of SPSUACE S. Shelohvostov, representatives of the University administration made speeches.

In their speeches the speakers underlined necessity of involving foreign students in public life. That is a purpose to start work of the Council of foreign students within the limits of Student council.

A questionnaire was also held at the meeting with the purpose to get feedback, learn requirements, interests, and problems of foreign students.

«We are ready to cooperate and accept new ideas. The opinion of everyone will positively be considered», - underlined V.A. Artemjev, the head of the Department of International education and cooperation.
