On 22nd December, 2017 a round table «Application of BIM-technologies in design activity of students» was held in SPSUACE.

There was summed up a pilot project «Working out design documentation of building object with application of BIM-technologies».

«Projects of residential buildings became a result of three-month teamwork: individual and low section executed with application of BIM-technologies. Work was carried out in the conditions approached to real activity by the design workshop. BIM standards have been studied and applied, approaches to the teamwork organization have been tested, adjustment of local network Revit server, practical use of cloudy service Autodesk BIM360team» - told the co-ordinator of the project V.Koykov.

The design team : students V.Koykov, J.Samarin, O.Repin, D.Zinenkov, K.Gorlanova, V.Bardadym, V.Popov, M.Rostova, D.Shcheglov, E.Sayfullina, A.Feskova, K.Sukhanov; a senior lecturer of the Department of Architectural Design Е.G.Voytsehovskaya , a senior lecturer of the Department of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation I.I.Sukhanova, a senior lecturer of the Department of Water Use and Ecology S. V.Fedorov and a senior teacher Y. V.Stolbihin, an assistant of the department of water use and ecology And. M.Telyatnikova.

«According to the article 48 of the Town-planning code the Government of the Russian Federation confirms the Provision about structure of sections of the design documentation and requirements to their maintenance, therefore it is important to introduce BIM-technologies in design activity of university students», - said the dean of the Faculty of Architecture F.V.Perov.

Summing up the session of the round table, the pro-rector on study I. R.Lugovskaya pointed the key aspects demanding attention at planning and organization of the further work on introduction of BIM-technologies in educational process of SPSUACE. It is the philosophy BIM, standard and legal base BIM, teamwork and team management. Irina Lugovskaya thanked the developers and reviewers of the pilot project and wished them further professional achievements.
