In October, 2017 an annual exhibition «Architectural drawing» was held in the St.-Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering. There were presented creative works of teachers of the Department of Architectural Design J.D.Brusnikin, S.I.Ivanov , A. V.Mihalychev.

Traditionally, the main theme of the annual exhibition was the city, fine and many-sided, in morning haze or in the evening twilight, warmed by the warm southern sun or hidden under a snow coverlet. «The city is a city. What to speak about it?» - said one of participants of the exhibition J.D.Brusnikin, who has recently published his monograph « Environment of a historical city in the architectural drawing : St.-Petersburg, Paris, Hamburg» which amazes with the highest level of professionalism.

Actually, it is not necessary to speak. The city speaks itself - in the language of buildings directed up, fanciful interlacings of branches in city parks, patches of light on water and bridges over it, clouds, birds... The City is a city.

We congratulate Jury Brusnikin on publishing his monograph and his 80-year-old anniversary, we wish him good health and new creative achievements!
