ATOMPROEKT JSC invites SPbGASU students and graduates to join its team

On December 6, 2019, a meeting of SPbGASU students with representatives of ATOMPROEKT took place; it was, organized by the SPbGASU Employment Assistance Service for students and graduates. ATOMPROEKT JSC is a Russian company engaged in the integrated design of nuclear energy facilities, research and development of new technologies in the nuclear industry. It is part of the Rosatom State Corporation.

✔ Students who came to the meeting learned about the ATOMPROEKT engineering division, corporate culture and the opportunities for professional and creative development in the company.

Konstantin Fokin, chief expert of the HR training and corporate culture development department, spoke about programs for students and university graduates that allow them to undergo practical training at Rosatom enterprises, gain practical experience of working at industry enterprises, and get a clear, objective vision of the future speciality. At the same time, he paid special attention to the possibilities of the industry career portal (rosatom-career.ru).

Yanina Belozerova, head of the construction department - Turbine Island, spoke about the current projects of the company, which employ not only experienced employees, but also young specialists. In addition, she highlighted the structure of the company and drew attention to the fact that ATOMPROEKT includes an architectural department, departments of metal structures, engineering surveys, designing of fire safety measures, a design department, etc., where SPbGASU students and graduates are very welcome.

What university graduates told about their working experience

Recent SPbGASU graduates also spoke about great opportunities for young specialists. Sofia Medvedeva, a design engineer and new team member, has already been on a business trip to Hungary and contributed to the work of the nuclear power plant operating there.

Vladimir Budnichenko, design engineer of the 2nd category, shared his experience of employment with the company with the audience. In 2017, he graduated from SPbGASU majoring in the “Construction of Unique Buildings and Structures”, after which he worked in several companies in order to gain experience that was required at ATOMPROEKT. Vladimir encouraged students to constantly engage in self-development and go the extra mile, be interested in professional topics that are relevant, and improve their knowledge.

“To be a specialist in a large company, in addition to a good professional education, you need to know modern accounting programs, construction standards, and speak foreign language,” V. Budnichenko said.
