Responding to the demands of the modern labor market, this year SPbGASU launches new fields of study.
Within the bachelor's programs, this is 09.03.03 Applied Informatics. Students will study technologies of programming and computer modeling, learn how to use them in various applied areas. The focus is also on technologies of information modeling (TIM), artificial intelligence, big data, website and mobile application development and other popular topics. Graduates of this specialization can work as software developers (C ++, Python, Java, etc.), software testers (QA), database operators, web programmers (frontend, backend, fullstack), TIM programmers and TIM coordinators, computer data analysts, systems analysts.
Another new bachelor's field of study is 54.03.01 Design. Students will learn how to design objects of the architectural environment, create harmonious connections between external and internal spaces, study the design of interiors and exteriors, and much more. Graduates can work in architectural and design organizations, general education and institutions of primary and secondary vocational education.
Within the specialist's program, the newly launched field of study is 54.05.03 Graphics, specialization "Graphic artist (graphic and poster art)". Students will study the design of advertising objects, the design of printed publications, the design and artistic and technical design of media products, systems and objects of visual information, identification and communication, and the creation of original works of art. Graduates of this specialization can find work in the field of advertising, mass media, in publishing houses and printing (in the field of design and artistic and technical design of media products, systems and objects of visual information, identification and communication), in creative and professional unions and associations, state, public, commercial organizations, general education and institutions of primary, secondary and higher professional education.
Within the master's programs there are two new fields of study.
Studying in the filed of study 09.04.03 Applied Informatics specializing in "Development of software for solving construction problems" students will learn to accompany IT projects and software at all stages of the life cycle, master modern programming and computer modeling technologies, and apply them to solving problems in various applied areas. They will study technologies of information modeling (TIM), artificial intelligence, big data, 3D printing and much more. They will have in-depth knowledge in the field of data analysis, software design and development, work with software to solve various applied problems. Diploma holders will become software specialists in construction companies, IT project managers, application software developers and architects, software testers (QA), web service developers (frontend, backend, fullstack), TIM programmers and TIM-coordinators, computer data analysts, systems analysts.
Master's students studying 54.04.01 Graphic design will gain professional knowledge and skills in developing concepts for advertising objects and graphic design, brand book, corporate identity, design code, concepts for creative innovative projects, museum and exhibition installations. They will learn how to manage the design process and monitor the implementation of the developed projects, become experts in color on the scale of the city, district, public and residential interiors. Diploma holders will be able to work in design organizations, in organizations specializing in promotional products, in the field of design of printing products, in general education and institutions of primary and secondary vocational education.
