✔ The participants’ task was to design a transport hub building in St. Petersburg and, among other things, to create its information model.
Each team included an architect, a design engineer, a heating engineer, a ventilation engineer, a water supply and sewerage engineer, an electrical engineer, BIM coordinator, a construction project manager, and a cost engineer. The SPbGASU team became the winner of the Championship.
"The Championship gave the students an opportunity to work on a real design case, to feel a professional atmosphere. While working on the project, all participants proved themselves in solving both standard and non-standard tasks. The students were able to assess their strengths and weaknesses, identify or modify their areas of interest. This will help them to set the directions of future development and priorities in further studies, as well as in deciding on their future career", said Angelina Rybakova, senior lecturer of the Department of Information Systems, Technologies and Automation in Construction at Moscow State University of Civil Engineering.
