On 28 - 29th April, 2017 II All-Russia scientifically-practical conference «From traditions to innovations in teaching foreign languages» was held at the St.-Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering.

The conference was organized by the Chair of Foreign Languages of SPSUACE

Estimation of modern developments in the technique of foreign language teaching in nonlinguistic high schools was the conference purpose.

«I think it’s good that it’s the second year questions about teaching foreign languages have been discussed fruitfully and deeply at the university of architecture and civil engineering. We want our students and graduates to be modern people who are able to communicate in a foreign language», - said the pro-rector on study A. R.Lugovskaja at the opening of the conference.
