Crimean student forum: a new view on student self-regulation

On July 14-19, 2015 in Sevastopol there took place the Crimean student forum, arranged by the Russian student Union. In the forum there took part leaders of student organizations, as well as specialists working in extracurricular, training and scientific research activity with students. Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering was represented by director of Centre for development of student self-regulation and youth initiatives Alexander Poliarush.

According to Alexander, the Forum was aimed at training student leaders new technologies of their work organization, so that they would have a chance to communicate, discuss urgent problems of the Russian student community and ways of their solution. And this aim was successfully achieved. The forum became exactly that event which could take student self-regulation to a new quality level, improve its efficiency and public value.

Programme of the Forum included lectures, workshops, business games, practical lessons during which students could reinforce the acquired knowledge and skills. The Crimea pleased its guests with sum, warm and great sights. Participants of the forum had exciting excursions, participated in sports competitions and got a lot of positive emotions. The Crimean student forum had a bright unforgettable impression on each student and gave new friends and contributed to growth as an individual. Let’s hope such events will become traditional.
