Current Issues of State and Law Were Discussed at SPbGASU
On April 10, 2019, Inter-university scientific conference with international participation “Current Issues of State and Law: Legal, Historical and Theoretical Aspects” was held at SPbGASU.
More than 60 participants have come from five regions of Russia, China, and international students from Congo, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Zimbabwe and Uganda
Natalia Lukmanova, Head of Scientific Research Office, greeted the conference participants on behalf of SPbGASU Rector Evgeny Rybnov:
‘There are lots of disputed issues in state and law sphere which you are going to discuss at the conference’
Irina Talyanina, Head of SPbGASU Department of Theory and History of State and Law and organizer of the conference, thanked the guests for coming and expressed her hope for it to become an annual event. According to her, the conference was aimed to analyze the issues of modern state and law, to talk about society and state development in current geopolitical environment, determine the directions of legal regulation of society and state, and to strengthen relations between legal science and practice.
The purpose of the conference was to organize a dialogue about state and law evolution, transformation and functioning, theoretical research integration and systematization, and current state and law events research.
Conference topics
As part of young scientist section Vladislav Aksyutenkov, SPbGASU student from the Faculty of Forensics and Law in Construction and Transport, presented a report ‘European view on the concept of sovereignty’ and he expressed an opinion that European foreign policy depends on the USA instructions. Vladislav Aksyutenkov: ‘According to Marshall Plan, Western Europe countries got great means from the US. The Plan was aimed to extend the influence of European countries and provide marketing areas for the US agricultural producers’.
Maria Alekseeva, SPbGASU student, read a report ‘Third World countries: history and our times’ about African countries. She told about colonial servitude by European states.
