Day of Russian Students
January 25 is the Day of Russian Students – Tatiana's Day. This holiday has been dearly loved by students for almost three centuries. Its history began in 1755, when on January 25 (January 12 according to the old style), on the day of memory of the holy martyr Tatiana, Empress Elizabeth signed a decree establishing the first Moscow University in Russia.
SPbGASU students are winners of the youth environmental action
Student time is one of the most important: it is a time of growing up, tireless searches and creative challenges. Within the walls of the St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, which is celebrating its 190th anniversary this year, students get the opportunity to realize their creative and scientific potential, acquire the competencies necessary for a modern, sought-after specialist.
SPbGASU students master BIM technologies, which the construction industry cannot do without today, gain knowledge about nanomaterials, conduct research work in world-class laboratories, and learn how to solve complex architectural and engineering problems.
By participating in student scientific societies, students learn useful skills, expand their circle of acquaintances in a professional environment.
Numerous victories at olympiads and competitions, including international ones, testify to the high level of knowledge gained within the walls of the university.
But student life is not limited to just studying: the university has student councils, a volunteer headquarters, and the movement of student teams is actively developing.
You can express yourself at the Center for Student Leisure and Creativity "Kirpich". Sports sections are always glad to accept new members.
Ahead of our students are many new discoveries, victories, achievements. May Tatiana's day remain a holiday throughout your life!
