Day of Unified Actions at SPbGASU
On April 19, the Day of Unified Actions was held throughout the country in memory of the genocide of the Soviet people by the Nazis and their accomplices during the Great Patriotic War.
A letter to future generations
Documentary film screening
The result of the crimes of the Nazis against the population of the USSR during the war is expressed in the dreadful ratio of the number of victims among the military and civilians. The war took the lives of 26.6 million people, almost half of which were civilians. More than 11 million died as a result of punitive operations, cold, hunger, and more than 2 million – in forced labour exile.
April 19 is therefore a special date for preserving the historical truth about the Nazi crimes. On this day, a documentary film "Without a Statute of Limitations" was shown at SPbGASU, and students learned a lot of new information about the Great Patriotic War. Representatives of the university Student Council wrote a letter to future generations about the importance of remembering the heroic deed of their ancestors. In addition, the students attended an exhibition dedicated to this date.
