On 21st June, 2017 the St.-Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering was visited by a delegation of the University of Bergamo (Italy). The delegation consisted of: the professor Remo Mortsenti Pellegrini, the rector of the university, the professor Matteo Kalchshmidt, the pro-rector on international contacts and the professor of the chair of Slavic philology of the philological faculty Maria Kjara Pezenti. The visit purpose was to discuss cooperation between two high schools within the limits of the operating contract.

From SPSUACE the pro-rector on study Irina Robertovna Lugovskaja, deans of faculties, representatives of the Department of the international education and cooperation participated in negotiations.

 Lately some Master’s programs in English appeared in the Italian high school, that raises interest of SPSUACE students to study on foreign exchange. It also expands possibilities of the organization of joint educational programs, summer schools and seminars.

Besides the negotiations the visitors made an excursion around the University: visited the Museum of history of SPSUACE, the Main library, the Museum of history of brick, intercathedral laboratory; attended the final qualifying works’ defense at the Faculty of Architecture.
