This year the Youth Day is celebrated on 24 June. Its history dates back to 1958, when it was established under the name "Soviet Youth Day". It was celebrated at the end of the school year and exams - on the last Sunday of June.

Since 1993, the date of the holiday has become constant - 27 June.

From 2023, by decree of the President of Russia, we will celebrate Youth Day on the last Saturday of June. On this occasion, large-scale events are planned in different cities of the country.

“SPbGASU is proud of its youth – talented, purposeful, energetic young men and ladies. They are the hope of our university, our city and our entire country. With their achievements in studies, science, social activities, sports and creativity, they support the good name of the university and strengthen its image. For our part, we strive to create all the conditions for the development of student activities, we implement various forms of social support for young people, ”says Evgeny Rybnov, SPbGASU Rector.

In Russia, young people are considered citizens from 14 to 35 years old. We congratulate them on the holiday, we wish them not to be afraid to dream and confidently go to success!
