Practical class

On 14–15 December, SPbGASU was visited by experts from the training center of the Lighting Technologies company Evgeny Burdaev and Denis Savelyev.

Students and teachers of the Department of Structural Physics, Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering attended lectures on the basics of lighting engineering and lighting design. In practical classes, students mastered the basics of lighting design, becoming familiar with the calculation and visualization of indoor and outdoor lighting in the DIALux evo program.

Representatives of the company spoke about the production of lighting equipment in Ryazan and the development of lighting solutions by company divisions in different cities of Russia and abroad. In particular, they mentioned the St Petersburg company INTILED, which is developing architectural lighting for large objects. This company can be visited on a guided tour.

The university and representatives of the training center outlined areas for further cooperation.
