On 13th December, 2017 a working meeting to mark a discussion of concepts of employing driverless vehicles and the analysis of the University potential for the decision of given problems took place in SPSUACE design office «Clever city» .

The head of the Department of Transport Systems A.I.Solodky and a senior lecturer A. V.Belov told about development of driverless transport and achievements in this sphere.

The professor of the Department of Over-ground Transport Technological Machines V.N.Dobromirov took up questions of updating the system of technical operation.

The head of the Department of Technical Operation of Vehicles I. O.Tchernyaev suggested using design training of the students of the team at Faculty of Automobile and Road Building for participation in student's engineering competitions « Formula Student» and its new direction - Formula Student Driverless (FSD).

Participants of the meeting discussed areas of research of possible master’s dissertations and research works which can be realized with the assistance of the design office.\
