22 April is the Earth Day, established by the UN General Assembly. It is intended to draw attention to environmental issues, to the need to live in harmony with nature and protect our common home: to use resources economically, to take care of the purity of air, water and soil.
On this day, caring people undertake activities for the environment improvement, gardening, and environmental protection. Everyone can make a feasible contribution - plant a tree, remove garbage, refuse to use a car for at least one day, turn off lights and electrical appliances for an hour.
SPbGASU students support the ecological balance not only on Earth Day, but also on any other day as part of the EcoTusa architectural and environmental project. One of the latest actions of activists is the collection of waste paper. EcoTusa project group at VKontakte
