In April 2016 student of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering Ksenia Yarkina and employees of the department of education quality participated in the annual Russian student school in education quality, which was held in Saint Petersburg.

The school is aimed at consolidation of youth efforts in education quality improvement in Russia and training of competent specialists.

Participants of the school were students and employees of educational institutions of higher and general education in 43 regions of Russia.

The 4-day long program of school included:

• Foresight session “An ideal university of the future”;
• Strategic session “Continuous interaction of a school, a higher education institution and an organization”; 
• Lectures of experts in work with school children, application of innovation models of university management “shared governance”, cooperation with employers;
• Group and individual project tasks.  

The school work resulted in launching projects in three main areas in the regions of Russia: 

• Professional orientation activity with school children, technologies of professional and personal self definition;
• Participation of students in management of education process;  
• Cooperation of higher education institutions with organizations and employers.
