On 8th May, 2017 a solemn mourning ceremony devoted to 72nd anniversary of the Great Victory took place on the Piskarevsky memorial cemetery.

The chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation V.I.Matvienko, the plenipotentiary of the president of the Russian Federation in Northwest Federal district N. N.Tsukanov, the governor of St.-Petersburg G.S.Poltavchenko, the chairman of Legislative Assembly of St.-Petersburg V.S.Makarov and other representatives of the authority and army took part in the ceremony.

Students, employees and teachers of SPSUACE together with thousands of Petersburgers put flowers to the monument of the Motherland.
