On May 18, 2016 at the Chair of Automobile Roads, Bridges and Tunnels there was organized an excursion to Ladozhsky bridge, which is situated 40 km away from the highway Saint Petersburg – Murmansk (federal highway “Cola”) at Kirovsky district of Leningradskaya region.

During the excursion students of the Faculty of Automobile and Road Building specialty “Construction of unique buildings and structures” got acquainted with bearing constructions and bridge turning machinery, visited diorama “Breach of Leningrad blockade”, the place where tanks T-34 and KV-1 were located and memorial complex in Sinyavino.

Students thank alumni of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering, head of the department of bridges of “Sevzapupravtodor” B.A. Yolkina, and the chair of automobile roads, bridges and tunnels for excursion organization and associate professor of the chair of automobile roads, bridges and tunnels, PhD in engineering, E.N. Kornylyeva for interesting and exciting journey.
