On 28th September, 2017 a book exhibition to 75-year-old anniversary of the professor of Department of Architectural and Town-planning Heritage Vasily Gorjunov opened in the Main library of the St.-Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering. The books which were written by the pen of the eminent author in different years as well as reviewed materials are presented at the exhibition.

« Studying modernist style in SPSUACE begins with Vasily Gorjunov. “Saying modernist style we mean Vasily Semenovich» - said Sergey V.Sementsov , the head of the department of an architectural and town-planning heritage, at the opening of the exhibition. It is difficult to disagree with these words. A book «Architecture of an epoch of the modernist style. Concepts. Directions. Masters», written by V.S.Gorjunov in the co-authorship with M.P.Tubli, has been republished many times. It is very popular not only with students and teachers, but also a wide range of readers, interested in the given direction.

A lot warm words, wishes of good health and further professional successes were addressed to the anniversary celebrant.

The exhibition of V.S.Gorjunov’ books will be opened till 10th October, 2017.
