University students told schoolchildren about the pool of technical and humanitarian fields of study at SPbGASU, faculties, advantages and uniqueness of departments, student council projects, the work of cultural, sports and public associations. Much attention was paid to the right steps a senior pupil should take to choose a dream university and ensure enrollment.
To feel the special atmosphere of studying at the university and feel like real students, the guests were allowed to walk around the university and get acquainted with the scientific and technical library, creative locations, lecture halls, student canteen.
After the tour, some schoolchildren expressed their desire to stay on the individual program "Become an SPbGASU student for one day" and spent time at lectures and practical classes, talked to teachers and students.
One of them, a tenth-grader Semyon Kuznetsov, commented: “The university impressed me with a warm welcome. Students have interesting and clear presentations. I also liked that the university has many sports clubs. I'm interested in volleyball. After visiting SPbGASU, all questions disappeared: I will enter the Faculty of Civil Engineering here!”
