On February 17, 2016 our country celebrates the Day of Russia student teams. It was established by the order of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir V. Putin on February 21, 2015.

This is a very “young” Russian holiday. At the same time, the Russian student team activity has old and rich traditions. Over 57 years 18 million people took part in the Russian student team movement. Student engineering teams participated in the largest Russian projects, such as reclamation of virgin lands, construction of BAM and large industrial objects.

Modern student teams managed to preserve the time connection. They participate in erection of various engineering objects, renovation of monuments, environmental events, and help those who need it.
