Focus on HIV prevention
As part of the Stop HIV / AIDS All-Russian campaign, a lecture was held at St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering on the prevention of HIV infection. The purpose of the lecture was to prevent the spread of infection.
The audience at the lecture
HIV infection is one of the most common diseases in Russia. According to statistics in our country, more than 1.5 million people live with this diagnosis.
Speaker Ekaterina Zinger
Ekaterina Zinger, an employee of the St. Petersburg charitable public foundation for medical and social programs "Humanitarian Action" conducted the lecture. She spoke about the disease, the causes of infection, the difference between HIV and AIDS. Ekaterina Zinger also paid special attention to what groups of the population are at risk and how to prevent infection.
Students highly assessed the lecture, noting that they would continue to be more caring to their health.
