June is a busy season for graduates of higher educational institutions including the future civil engineers graduating the St.-Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering. In June, 2017 on the specialized chairs of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of SPSUACE there is being held defense of degree projects. The senior lecturer of the Chair of Building Designs Alexey Olegovich Hegaj shared his opinion about this.

– The defense is going in a regular mode. This year full-time students are quite well-prepared. There are a lot interesting works, some of which, certainly, will be put forward on competitions – first, on the university one, then on All-Russia.

Despite an extremely busy schedule, the dean of the faculty of civil engineering of SPSUACE Alexander Nikolaevich Panin told about features of defense-2017.

- After a two-year break we again graduate experts. They are serious, well-prepared students who positively "will not be lost" in the building market. They are demanded, and it’s very good to graduate them again. As to project works: I am pleased with new bachelors and experts. I wish masters will be more careful in choosing their themes for projects. The number of Red diplomas in percentage terms is expected not less, than last year.
