Students of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering learned about the way investment and engineering projects are carried out, about the stages of their development and initial permit documentation during the lecture of the Director on investment and engineering projects of “LenSpetsSMU” CJSC Sergey Titarenko. The lecture was held upon the initiative of the fundamental chair of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering, which had been established in cooperation with the Noncommercial partnership “Union of Saint Petersburg engineers” and the University.

The expert shared his work experience and described specific character of his work. He also talked about the company he was working at.

During the lecture students of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering asked Sergey Titarenko a whole range of questions, such as objectives of tenders in engineering, system of innovations, creation of a concept of residential complexes and the quality of buildings erected by “LenSpetsSMU” CJSC. When answering the latest question, the reporter noted that the constructions of residential complexes underwent a thorough durability check and an obligatory monitoring. “That’s why in nearest 100 years nothing can happen to the buildings we erected”, - said the Project director.

It should be noted that seminars, lectures, work-shops and excursions are held by senior specialists, representatives of largest engineering companies of Saint Petersburg. It has become a good tradition for the fundamental chair to arrange such meetings. In June, 2015 students from Kazakhstan had an excursion to the site of one of the leading companies of the investment and engineering complex of Russia – Group of companies “Etalon”. They arrived at Saint Petersburg within the frame of the international cooperation program between Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering and “Western Kazakhstan agrarian and technical university named after Zhandirkhan”. Foreign student were impressed by the opportunity to watch all the stages of construction of a residential complex beginning with the zero cycle and ending with finishing of constructed buildings.
