The chairman of the SPbGASU International Students Council Antonia Angelova, as the head of the international team, won the “Culture” category at the International Youth History School in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
The event was held on 9–16 October under the motto “Common history as a resource for joint development of Russia and the member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States”.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to perform with my team and win. For the competition, we presented the “New Nomads” mobile application, which presents tourist destinations in Kyrgyzstan, including visits to various historical and architectural attractions, cultural and natural sites,” said Antonia.
The school, held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, brought together undergraduate and graduate students from several dozen universities in Russia and other CIS countries. Participants of the event worked in four thematic areas: “Memory”, “Knowledge”, “Ties” and “Culture”, underwent an intensive educational program, attended round tables and discussions with leading Russian and Kyrgyz scientists.
