On Sunday, August 9, our country celebrates the Day of engineer. On this day we will congratulate and honor all those people who make the life of other people more comfortable and better, who erect buildings, plants, schools and roads, those, who create things, which will be preserved for ages.

Though day of engineer is a professional holiday, it is close to all Russian people and its value grows with years. It is connected with development of economics of Russia, with the wish to preserve cultural traditions of the past, with the creative character of the profession itself. This year in Saint Petersburg this holiday will be of the city level.

Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering makes a significant contribution to training highly qualified engineering specialists. Our alumni work successfully at engineering companies and architectural and design studios of the country.
