After the performance of the SPbGASU anthem and the University's student teams anthem, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy Irina Lugovskaia and Head of the Division of social and extracurricular student activities Irina Nuryeva wished the team members success in their work.
“Student teams are undoubtedly one of the best youth movements in our country and our university, which has been preserved and adequately holds the high standards since the times of the USSR. Those who stand here today will meet both the 90th and the 100th anniversaries of the student teams movement. They will remember the years spent in construction teams and talk about them”, said Irina Lugovskaia.
“SPbGASU student teams have a big anniversary ahead of them shortly – they will turn 75 years old. In 1949, a year after the appearance of construction teams, the first student team also appeared at our university”, said Egor Anikin, ex-commander of the headquarters of SPbGASU student teams, first-year master's student of the faculty of economics and management.
The most striking part of the assembly were the flag bearers. The program of the event also included creative performances. Commissioner of the SPbGASU school of civil engineering Aleksandra Shestakova and Commander of the SPbGASU school of civil engineering Kirill Bodrov, a fourth-year bachelor's student of the faculty of civil engineering, awarded the best team members with diplomas and branded T-shirts.{gallery name="линейка05"}
The participants of the assembly received a charge of vivacity and inspiration, and the leaders of the student teams were awarded vouchers for the upcoming labour season. The teams will work in various parts of Russia – from the Crimea (student agricultural team "Hermes") to Yamal (student construction team "Kusto").
